A-League Week Three – Previews & Betting

August 18th, 2010

This weekend brings about the third weekend in the 2010-11 A-League Season and as sides begin to get into the swing of things, it begins to get interesting at Ladbrokes.com.au!

Kicking off the weekend’s action Adelaide United will welcome Melbourne Heart to the Hindmarsh Stadium. United are favourites heading into this one at $2.20 with the Heart at $3.10.

The Victorian side have managed just one draw in the opening two weeks, while Adelaide has two draws to their name.

Last weekend resulted in Sydney – the early market favourites to win the season, lose drastically to North Queensland. This round they face Brisbane Roar ($2.90) and are at $2.30 with Ladbrokes.com.au to claim the win. It will be interesting to see how they respond to the knock back so early in the season.

On Sunday afternoon it will be a case of top versus bottom when Melbourne Victory ($1.73) welcomes North Queensland ($4.75) to the AAMI Park.

The Victory is sitting at the bottom of the ladder – although it may just be a three-point difference between them and their second-ranked opponents.

North Queensland has surprisingly long odds considering just how impeccable they were last round. So we recommend punting on them to deliver again come Sunday afternoon if you want to see your dollar go far with Ladbrokes.com.au.

Gold Coast United, fourth place on the ladder, has a bye this weekend so will return to action in round four.

If you feel like betting on the A-League and supporting your favourite club, make sure you head to Ladbrokes.com.au for the best odds and markets going!
