2010 World Cup Second Weekend Preview & Betting

June 18th, 2010

The 2010 World Cup is off and running with all 32 nations in the tournament having got their opening fixture under their belt, had a feel for the controversial ball, and got the first game nerves out of their system.

Our ‘Tip Of The Weekend’ is to back a 2-0 Holland win at $6 – although it could be more if the Japanese defence is not wide awake.

As a world cup tournament is expected to do – there have been an array of fantastic goals, individual showmen, and huge upsets, most notably pre tournament favourite Spain’s loss to Switzerland in their opener.

Other upsets are France who are teetering on the edge of expulsion, defending Champions Italy almost losing out to Paraguay and many underdogs proving their worth such as New Zealand.

This weekend looks set to bring about some more thrilling matches as teams battle it out under more pressurised conditions in their second fixtures, and remember there are great odds and markets at Ladbrokes.com.au which are always changing whenever a goal is scored!
